Scouting Opportunities

Cuon Scout Group training programme is available to all interested and motivated youths, aged 13 to 18 years old. Our programme is generally categorised into Cubs, Scouts, Ventures and Rovers.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are Ladies allowed to join?
YES. We welcome anyone who has the interest to join Venturing / Rovering in Cuon Scout Group.

2. Can I join Cuon Scouts Group, if I was previously from another uniformed group?
YES. We will welcome you, whether you were from NPCC, NCC, St. John, Red Cross, Boys Brigade, Girls Brigade, or any Co-Cirricular Activity.

3. Can I join Cuon Scout Group, if I was previously from another Scout Group / Girl Guides Unit?
YES. We welcome anyone who has the interest to join Venturing / Rovering in Cuon Scout Group.

4. What is the accepted age range for Venture Scouts in Cuon Scouts Group?
The age range accepted for Ventures is between 15 and 18 years old, and 18 to 25 years old for Rovers.

5. My Polytechnic/Junior College/ITE requires me to take up a CCA within its instituition. What can I do?
We encourage all our Ventures / Rovers to take up another interest in their JC/Poly/ITE. Its all about having an all-rounded education, Scouting should not be a handicap- its there to complement formal education and to enrich our lives.

To join as a Venture Scout, you can register yourself here.

Every year, the intake for Venture Scout is around November to January, typically after the GCE 'N' & 'O' levels.
